Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner – Urgent Care

Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
- Proven experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical assessment and episodic care skills
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Anthem
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in injury treatment and procedures
- Familiarity with additional documentation systems outside of Anthem
- Previous work in diverse clinical environments, including occupational health
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing (MSN or DNP preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in urgent care or occupational health settings
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) or equivalent
Other Requirements:
- Ability to start coverage on 03/19/2026 or as negotiated
- Mileage reimbursement for local providers at IRS standard rates
- Availability for ongoing coverage as needed
- Must hold current CPR and state licensing; BLS certification preferred
