We are seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner for their Occupational Health and Urgent Care clinic. This role is designed for an APP who can manage a diverse patient load autonomously while having telephonic support from a supervising physician.
-Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
-Location: Lynchburg, VA.
-Setting: Urgent Care clinic providing Occupational Health services.
-Charting: Anthem EMR.
-
Travel: Mileage reimbursement at the IRS Standard Rate (Applicable to local providers only).
Job Responsibilities
-Function as the sole provider on-site with autonomous decision-making authority.
-Coordinate with a supervising physician available via phone for any necessary consultations.
-Execute occupational health protocols and manage workplace-related injuries.
Qualifications
-Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) License [REQUIRED].
-Certifications: Current BLS [REQUIRED].
-Experience: Previous clinical experience in Urgent Care and Occupational Health settings.
-Residence: Provider must be local to the Lynchburg area [REQUIRED].

-Availability: Ongoing coverage needed as of March 2026
