Immediate Urgent Care APP locums opportunity in Goldsboro, North Carolina for a confident NP or PA ready to step into a high-volume clinic environment with consistent ongoing coverage needs. This is a strong fit for experienced urgent care providers who thrive under pressure, are highly procedural, and can confidently manage a full patient load as the sole provider on shift. If you have strong adult and pediatric experience, Epic EMR background, and DOT capability, this assignment offers excellent stability, fast-paced variety, and strong earning potential for providers who can commit to ongoing shifts.
Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat adult and pediatric urgent care patients
• Perform procedures including I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation
• Manage minor injuries and common urgent care presentations
• Maintain strong patient throughput while ensuring quality care
• Provide DOT exams as required
• Document accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR
• Work independently as the sole provider while coordinating with clinic support staff
Qualifications
• Board Certified required (NP Boards or NCCPA)
• BLS required
• Minimum 12 months urgent care experience required (no new grads)
• Must be comfortable treating adults and pediatrics (6 months and up)
• Must be confident working as the sole provider in the clinic
• Epic EMR experience required and must complete Epic training
• DOT experience required
• ACLS and PALS preferred
Working Hours
• Duration: Ongoing coverage
• Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only
• Volume Expectations: Average 40 patients per day, can reach 60 patients per day
• Must complete required onboarding and Epic training
• Consistent ongoing shift coverage required

• High-volume patient flow management
• Confident solo provider urgent care coverage
• Strong adult and pediatric urgent care experience
• Procedural expertise including I&D and laceration repair
• Ear irrigation and minor procedure capability
• Strong documentation and efficiency skills
• Epic EMR proficiency required
