Urgent Care APP Need
Full-time Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider role for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Work in a busy urgent care clinic serving patients of all ages with acute non-life-threatening conditions.
New graduates are welcome to apply — no minimum experience strictly required, though relevant clinical experience is helpful.
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage acute illness and injuries that do not require emergency room care (minor infections, sprains, lacerations, urgent medical complaints).
Perform common urgent care procedures such as:
• Suturing and wound closure
• Incision & drainage of abscesses
• Soft casting or splinting
• Foreign body removal
Interpret x-rays and basic diagnostics as part of urgent care workflows.
Provide patient education, clinical documentation, and care coordination in an outpatient urgent care environment.
Typical Schedule
Extended clinic hours, generally:
• Monday–Friday: 7 am–7 pm (12-hour shifts)
• Saturday–Sunday: 7 am–3 pm (8-hour shifts)
Schedule may vary depending on practice needs.
