Job description
Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient care team! This role focuses on delivering exceptional care to acutely ill patients while working collaboratively with a strong multidisciplinary team.
Position Highlights
- Will be employed by Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group.
- Full-time | Dayshift schedule Mon-Fri, 8 am-5pm | Inpatient setting
- Provide comprehensive inpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Perform advanced procedures including Central line placement, Endotracheal intubation, Additional procedures based on credentialing.
- Manage admissions, daily rounds, and discharges.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement, safety, and clinical best practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Acute Care NP certification (ACNP-BC or ACNPC-AG)
- Active Illinois RN and APRN licenses (or ability to obtain)
- Required: BLS & ACLS
- Experience in acute inpatient settings preferred

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
