Position Snapshot
  • Start Date: February 1, 2026
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Openings: 6 APCs (multiple providers accepted)
  • Setting: Walk-In/Urgent Care Clinic
  • Coverage Need: High urgency — rapid interviews for qualified candidates
Schedule & Availability
  • Clinic Hours:
    • Monday–Friday: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. (12-hour shifts)
    • Weekends/Holidays: 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (5-hour shifts)
  • Shifts per Month: Flexible. No minimum required; more availability is preferred.
  • Call: None
  • Staffing Model:
    • Usually one physician on each shift
    • Occasionally APC-only coverage
    • Walk-in clinic is attached to Family Practice—physicians available in the building on weekdays

Experience
  • Urgent care experience strongly preferred
  • Must be comfortable in a true walk-in model with no scheduled appointments
Clinical & Workflow Details
  • Patient Volume: 20+ per shift
  • Beds in Facility: 10
  • EMR: Epic
Core Duties
  • Assessment, triage, and treatment of walk-in patients
  • Common presentations: colds, minor injuries, sprains, strains, simple procedures
  • Lab and X-ray available onsite during clinic hours
  • Follow-up care handled by patients’ primary care physicians
Team & Environment
  • Walk-in only—no scheduled appointments
  • Pediatric patients seen; reception may redirect to primary care when appropriate
  • Expectation is to complete on-site visits plus any associated documentation time
Recruiter Summary
Seeking NP/PA providers with Board Certification/Eligibility, BLS, and an active WI or Compact license. Providers must be comfortable in a high-volume, true walk-in urgent care with 12-hour weekday shifts and 5-hour weekend shifts. Urgent care experience preferred. Multiple openings and quick onboarding—interviews arranged rapidly for strong candidates.
