VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care.

- Description: PLEASE READ: This is to fill a FULL-TIME temporary need in our Fuquay Varina center. Provider must be able to work full-time hours and available to start (fully credentialed) by January 12th and attend our orientation/onboarding that same week (no exceptions). Assignment will last approximately 3 months (we may have a need to extend at same location or different nearby - within 50 miles - location). Specialty: Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care, Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine - Urgent Care, Family Medicine - Urgent Care Dates: Listed in Comments PLEASE READ TOP COMMENTS ON SCHEDULING/AVAILABILITY 1. Please specify level of proficiency with EPIC, Provider will be required to use Epic 2. Provider must be able to see and treat all patients as the sole provider in the Center 3. Provider should have good soft skills as they will be one on one with support staff and each patient 4. Once Bid vetted, a 1-hour virtual Clinical Interview/Screening will be setup 5. If provider passes Clinical Interview/Screening and bid is approved - 5. HCO relies on Agency's credentialing of each provider; HCO will process Medicare Enrollment only however will gather all required documents as needed 6. Once all credentialing is approved - HCO will schedule onboarding/training and ongoing shift coverage. 6. ALL approved providers are REQUIRED to attend onboarding/training that have set scheduled weekdays. Specialty: Urgent Care Function: UC - MD/PA/NP Board Requirement: Yes - BC / NCCPA / NP Boards Will you consider a New Grad?No How many months of experience are required? 12 months Certifications Required: Yes - Board Certification, PA Cert, Family NP Cert, BLS SUPPORT STAFF: Center Mgr, MA, PSA, Supervising Physician Offsite (for APP only) Medical Setting: Urgent Care Center Type of Cases (please be specific):Urgent Care, Adults and Peds (6 months+) Procedures: I&D, Lac repair, Ear irrigation, other minor procedures Patient Ages: Adult and Pediatric Patients, All ages - 6 months and up PPD: up to 40 ppd - depends on site (average for this site is 30) EMR/Charting: Y, Epic w/ modified training schedule, will need to use EMR for all visits. Call Requirements: No Supervision Requirements: No / HCO will provide Supervising Physician for locum APPs Travel + Lodging:Not Eligible for travel reimbursement, mileage only If needed, we may ask candidates for support within a 50 mile radius cap surrounding their home center Interview Process: Clinical interview, must go through EMR training and onboarding prior to first shift solo
