What You Will Do:
- Provide urgent and acute care for adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up) in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigations, and more.
- Manage a varying patient volume, with an expected average of 20 patients per day.
- Utilize Epic EMR for charting and documentation with training provided.
- Work independently as the sole provider in the center, collaborating with support staff and supervising physicians as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and quality care in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings.
- Board Certification: NCCPA (PA), Family Nurse Practitioner certification, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to see and treat all patients independently.
- Strong soft skills, including effective communication and patient rapport.
- Capable of performing minor procedures confidently.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric and adult populations.
- Previous work in high-volume urgent care centers.
- Ability to handle a variety of procedures and rapid patient turnover.
- Knowledge of Medicare enrollment processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate degree from accredited PA or Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active licensure appropriate to state regulations.
- At least 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Available to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of your residency.
- Must be able to commit to the planned start date of December 31, 2025.
- Valid PA or NP certification, with ongoing clinical training and onboarding.
- No travel reimbursements offered; only mileage covered.
