Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide autonomous urgent care services to a high volume of patients (40+ per shift)
- Collaborate with a medical assistant and front desk staff as part of the care team
- Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
- Perform procedures and manage acute illnesses and injuries as appropriate for urgent care
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinic protocols
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Must be able to work independently; new graduates will not be considered
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
- DOT certification is a plus
- Flexibility to cover shifts at nearby sites as needed
