- Schedule: 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm weekdays, 8am-4pm weekends), full-time 36/40 rotating schedule, every other weekend required, flexibility to float to nearby locations
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver urgent care services independently, managing a high-volume patient load (40+ patients per shift)
- Collaborate with medical assistant and front desk staff to optimize patient flow
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer appropriate procedures and interventions based on urgent care needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient encounters
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Ability to work autonomously; new graduates will not be considered
- DOT certification is a plus
- Flexibility to float to nearby locations as needed
