Job Details
- Location: North Carolina
- Start Date: Dec 16, 2025
- LOA: 60 days
- Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: Rotating 36/40 schedule. Weekdays: 8am-8pm; Weekends: 8am-4pm. Every other weekend required. Example: Week 1—Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2—Monday, Thursday, Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Independently provide urgent care services to a high volume of patients (40+ per shift)
- Work collaboratively with a medical assistant and front desk support in a streamlined team model
- Perform patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment within the scope of urgent care
- Accurately document clinical information and maintain thorough patient records
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with DEA certification
- Float between assigned clinics as required by the rotation schedule
Additional Information
- Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required
- Must be able to work autonomously and handle high patient volumes
- DOT certification is a plus
- Not accepting new graduate candidates
