Job Details

- Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: Full time, 36/40 rotation schedule; weekdays 8am-8pm, weekends 8am-4pm; every other weekend required; must be able to float within relatively close clinics
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver autonomous urgent care services to a high patient volume (40+ patients per shift)
- Work collaboratively with a provider, medical assistant, and front desk team structure
- Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, and urgent interventions
- Manage acute illnesses and minor injuries for a diverse patient population
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina
- Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications
- Ability to work autonomously is required; no new graduates will be considered
- DOT certification is a plus
