Job Details

- Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
- Schedule: 36 to 40 hours per week, rotating; weekdays 8am–8pm, weekends 8am–4pm; every other weekend required. Example rotation:
- Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2: Monday, Thursday, Friday
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients presenting with a variety of health concerns
- Manage overflow urgent care cases as needed
- Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe appropriate medications
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to clinical protocols and best practices for urgent and primary care settings
Additional Information
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in North Carolina required
- Minimum 1 year of urgent care experience is mandatory
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
- Client will cover DOT certification if not already obtained; must be acquired within 60 days of start
- Assignment start is as soon as credentialed
