Job description Urgent care NP needed for full time onsite coverage in beautiful South Florida. This need is for a full-service walk-in clinic with highly trained and professional staff opened 7 days a week. The facility is seeking a quality oriented, emergency driven, and clinical care provider to care for patients seeking urgent care services.   • Start: ASAP
  • Credentialing: 2 weeks
  • 3 locations in need of coverage- *can choose the location that is best for you, would NOT be required to float between all locations.
  • Schedule: 3 week days and 1 weekend day- flexible to choose days best for you
  • Patients per day varies
  • Population: all ages

Job Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, for a wide range of conditions, from sinus and respiratory infections to wounds and broken bones. Provides appropriate, efficient, and effective clinical medical care required for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human disease and injury.
Reviews the Electronic Medical Records system (e-CW) patient’s records to get patients medical history.
Document accurately patient's visit including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action. Orders or administers tests, x-rays, electrocardiogram, and other diagnostic procedures, accordingly to the nature of the patient’s illness or urgent needs.
Determines and prescribes medication, dosage, and schedule given the patient's condition and allergies. Conducts physical examinations to provide information needed for admission to school, consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage, among other physicals.

Qualifications

Previous experience in ER and/ or Urgent Care is required
Fluency in English, verbal and written required
Active and unrestricted ARNP licensure in the state of Florida required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Current DEA license to schedule controlled substances required
MUST to obtain NRCME certification prior to coming onboard or within 60- 90 days of hire
