Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Sunny Palm Springs, California! Palm Springs has outstanding weather 365 days/year with access to both Los Angeles and San Diego within about 2 hours. Outstanding restaurants, golf course, hiking, and one of the biggest music events in the country is in the backyard, COACHELLA!!
Salary Range : 130k-230k, Plus Outstanding Benefits! This is a M-F position, with no weekends or on call. The client will train the right candidate and need someone who can start asap.
Job Objective:
·      Provides direct patient care and support to multidisciplinary health team working within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner.
·      Serves as a clinical expert through patient education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and consultation, while maintaining program excellence and professional growth.
·      Responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, coordinating patient care, delivering ongoing treatment while fostering a strong patient-provider relationship.
·      Committed to cost-effective care management, optimizing resource utilization, and enhancing patient experiences through continuous process improvement.
·      Provides direct patient care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based outcomes.

Qualifications:
Experience:
Preferred: Experience as a NP providing care in an acute or ambulatory setting in assigned area of specialty
Education:
Required: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited school of nursing
Licensure/Certification:
Required:
·      Active and unrestricted CA licensure as Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP)
·      Nurse Practitioner Furnishing (NPF)
·      License number from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
·      Current board certification as NP by a nationally accredited organization
·      DEA certificate to dispense controlled substances (II-V)
·      Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
·      Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
·      Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA if assigned to Emergency Department
