Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Urgent and Acute Care

Are you a dedicated advanced practice provider ready to make a meaningful impact in urgent and acute care settings? We are seeking highly skilled Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver exceptional patient care across multiple centers within a vibrant healthcare network. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work independently, managing both adult and pediatric patients, while utilizing your expertise to perform minor procedures, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of urgent health issues.

In this position, you will be the primary provider on site, responsible for delivering comprehensive care in fast-paced urgent care environments. You'll partner with supportive staff, including center managers, medical assistants, and supervising physicians, to ensure patient needs are met efficiently and empathetically. This role requires proficiency in Epic EMR, strong soft skills, and a commitment to delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of patient care independently, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations.
  • Work with adult and pediatric patients, age 6 months and older.
  • Document accurately in Epic EMR, adhering to modified training protocols.
  • Attend clinical interviews, complete EMR training, and participate in onboarding before your first solo shift.
  • Support multiple centers within a 65-mile radius based on your residence.

Required Skills:
  • Valid board certification (BC / NCCPA / NP Boards).
  • Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience.
  • Current certifications: BLS, PA Certification, Family NP Certification (as applicable).
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR required.
  • Ability to see and treat all patients independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care cases.
  • Familiarity with minor procedures and acute care protocols.
  • Ability to handle a patient volume of approximately 40 patients per day.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Graduate-level education in Nursing or Physician Assistant programs.
  • One year or more of urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work at multiple sites within a 65-mile radius.
  • No travel or call duties required.
  • Availability to support urgent care centers starting January 11, 2026.
