Job description
Physician Assistant - Acute Care, Physician Assistant - Urgent Care, Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering high-quality urgent and acute care services. This pivotal role involves managing high-volume patient care for both pediatric (6 months and older) and adult populations in a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will directly impact community health by providing timely, compassionate, and effective treatment in urgent care settings.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated healthcare professional with proven experience in adult and pediatric urgent care, proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), particularly Epic, and the ability to work independently as the sole provider in our centers. Strong soft skills are essential to foster excellent relationships with support staff and patients alike, ensuring a positive patient experience. Certifications such as Board Certification (BC), NCCPA certification for PAs or Family NP certification, BLS, and DEA registration are required, along with a minimum of 12 months of relevant experience.

Preferred candidates will have experience performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. Knowledge of EMR systems, especially Epic, is crucial. While travel reimbursement is not available, mileage support within a 60-mile radius from your residence is provided.

Your responsibilities include managing a patient volume averaging around 40 patients per day, utilizing your excellent clinical judgment, and performing procedures and assessments efficiently. You will be supported by a dedicated team including center managers, medical assistants, and offsite supervising physicians for APPs. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $1.00.

Starting on 01/21/2026, this role requires participation in mandatory EMR training sessions scheduled on set Wednesdays and completion of credentialing and onboarding processes prior to your first solo shift. Candidates must be committed to our structured onboarding process and flexible within multiple support locations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for high-caliber clinicians seeking to make a meaningful difference in urgent care and acute settings. If you are a motivated provider eager to contribute to community health, we encourage you to apply promptly and take the next step in your professional journey.
