Locum - Urgent Care - NP / PA

Job Opportunity: Locum NP/PA - Urgent Care in Massillon, OH

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care services including evaluation and treatment of patients.
• Work 12-hour shifts, 10 AM - 10 PM, on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with flexibility for alternative scheduling.
• Ensure patient safety and quality through adherence to clinical protocols.
• Utilize EMR (CareCloud) for documentation and patient management.
• Manage a daily census of approximately 50-60 patients.
• Support physician coverage until a full-time provider begins.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Experience in urgent care is preferred.
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active State NP or PA license in Ohio - REQUIRED.
• DEA registration - REQUIRED by start date.
• Board Certification - REQUIRED.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - REQUIRED.
• Clear background check - REQUIRED.
• Submission of case logs from the last 2 years - REQUIRED.
• Three peer references from the last 2 years - REQUIRED.
