- Other Details: The facility is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 15-30 patients per shift. The facility is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Urgent Care with 3–5 years of urgent care experience to provide flexible coverage ranging from 8 to 40 hours weekly, depending on internal needs. The current July schedule includes shifts on 7/7 (Orientation: 12:30 PM–8:30 PM), 7/8 (12 PM–8:30 PM), 7/10 (7 AM–7 PM), 7/11 (8:30 AM–8:30 PM), 7/14 (12:30 PM–8:30 PM), 7/15 (7 AM–7 PM), 7/16 (12 PM–8:30 PM), 7/17 (12:30 PM–8:30 PM), 7/21 (12:30 PM–8:30 PM), 7/28 (12:30 PM–8:30 PM), and 7/29 (12 PM–8:30 PM). Providers are supported by a medical assistant or nurse and a respiratory therapist. The role requires performing physical exams, assessing medical conditions, counseling and educating patients, referring and transferring care as needed, and prescribing medications. The August schedule is pending, and no overtime is expected as shifts do not exceed 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities
* Counsel and educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
* Refer patients to specialists or transfer care as needed
* Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
* Work collaboratively with support staff, including MA/nurse and RT
Qualifications
* 3 to 5 years of experience in an urgent care setting
* Current certifications (BLS, ACLS preferred)
* Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
