Job Title: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner
Location: Oxford, NC
Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care center
Shifts: Mon - Fri with rotating weekends
Urgent Care NP Responsibilities:
- Providing care to patients with Urgent needs
- Educating patients and their families about their condition and what they should expect from the treatment plan
- Performing examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the patient's condition
- Communicating with physicians to determine the best care plan for every patient
Qualifications:
- State-mandated nursing license(s)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing with a focus in Urgent care
- Previous nursing experience preferred
- Availability to work odd hours
- Knowledge of Urgent conditions and treatments
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests and administer medication
