An orthopedic outpatient practice is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist the clinic starting in May. You will be providing medical care and services independently and collaboratively under the direction and supervision of a physician at the clinic. Apply today! - Job details:
- Assess, diagnose, treat medical and surgical problems in an orthopedic setting
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and order/perm labs, x-rays, EKGs, etc
- Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and infection management
- No weekend hours
- Setting: outpatient clinic for 100% spine-related cases (initial assessment to post-op)
- 3 physicians on staff
- 2 non-surgical APPs and 3 APPs that split time between surgery center and outpatient clinic
- Multiple RN/MA support staff
Required:
- 1 year of NP or PA-C experience
- Active IL license
