Mercy Health is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for our Defiance Urgent Care/Walk-In Clinic. This dynamic position involves the treatment of common illnesses and minor injuries, providing comprehensive care for the whole person and the entire family in an urgent care walk-in setting. The patient age range includes pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Sunday: 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Schedule is flexible due to differing weekday and weekend hours.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments, diagnosing, and treating common illnesses and minor injuries.
• Performing procedures such as splinting sprains, incision and drainage (I&D), stitches, staples, ear irrigations, and nasal packing.
• Utilizing on-site equipment including x-ray, lab, and point-of-care testing.

Requirements:

• Board-certified or board-eligible Advanced Practice Provider
• State licensure and current certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
