Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage in an Urgent Care Setting starting in late October, ongoing. Apply today to be considered for this opening and/or others.

  • Seeking a background in either Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine.
  • Pay Rate: $110/hour (on 1099)
  • Schedule: Can be somewhat flexible - Weekday Shifts (8a-8p), E/O Weekend Shifts (8a-6p)
  • Expenses Covered: Malpractice, Lodging, Travel (flight/rental car if needed).
Job Details:
  • Practice Setting: Urgent Care Setting, located in a Critical Access Hospital with access to Emergency Room if a patient presents with higher acuity than can be addressed in the UC setting
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: The center services 35-60 patients per day, with staff with two providers for a portion of of the shift
  • Documentation System/EMR: Primarily Athena with some order entry into MedHost/HMS
  • Patient Demographic: all ages (birth to geriatric)
  • Required Procedures: suturing, I&D, wound care, foreign body removal, splinting, pelvic exams
    APP will be working autonomously - Supervising Physician will not be present during the assignment
Requirements:
  • Board Certified
  • ACLS, BLS
  • Active NH License - highly preferred
