Description
A healthcare system in York, Pennsylvania is seeking a Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient coverage, consultations, and surgical support within a hospital-based vascular surgery team.
The provider will round on patients, perform consults, and assist in the operating room when applicable. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with a collaborative environment including nursing staff and residents while managing adult and geriatric patient populations.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage
- Round on admitted vascular surgery patients
- Perform consultations and patient evaluations
- Assist in the operating room based on skill set
- Manage treatment plans and coordinate care
- Collaborate with surgeons, residents, and nursing staff
- Document patient care in EMR (Epic)
- Manage approximately 20 patients per day
- Support pre-operative and post-operative care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of vascular surgery or surgical experience
- Experience in hospital-based care preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Working Hours
4 days per week
10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Option for 5x8 schedule
Scheduled coverage with call required.
