Practice Setting:
EMR: EPIC
Credentialing: 90 days
- Initial 6-month contract
- Potential to extend

Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search
Practice Setting:
- Inpatient, OR and Call coverage
- Level II trauma center
- Surgeons take overnight first call, APP is for emergency surgical call
- Average 1-2 cases per day
- Vasoview Hemopro2 system
- Full-time coverage needed
- Monday-Friday, 7:00a-6:00p
- Rotating night and weekend call
- Weekend call includes rounding, approximately 10:00a-4:00p
- Will consider 1 week on/1 week off or weekend availability

Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Qualifications
Board certification
AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2-years Cardiothoracic experience or equivalent
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
Proficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialty
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditions
Time management skills to efficiently manage a patient workload
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a healthcare team
