We are seeking a Vascular Nurse Practitioner to support a growing vascular surgery and vascular medicine service line. This role involves collaborative, patient-centered care for individuals with arterial and venous diseases across outpatient and procedural settings.
We are seeking a Vascular Nurse Practitioner to support a growing vascular surgery and vascular medicine service line. This role involves collaborative, patient-centered care for individuals with arterial and venous diseases across outpatient and procedural settings.
Job Responsibilities
• 🩺 Perform patient histories, physical exams, and vascular assessments
• 🫀 Manage PAD, venous insufficiency, DVT, carotid disease, aneurysms & chronic wounds
• 🧪 Order and interpret diagnostic studies (vascular ultrasound, ABI/PVR, CTA/MRA, labs)
• 🏥 Assist with pre- and post-operative vascular care
• 📋 Develop and implement treatment plans with vascular specialists
• 💊 Prescribe medications and adjust therapies per clinical protocols
• 🗣️ Educate patients on disease processes, procedures & follow-up care
• 🖥️ Document encounters accurately in the EMR
• 🔗 Coordinate care with imaging, wound care & ancillary services
Qualifications
• 🎓 Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• 📜 Active NY NP license
• 🏅 Board Certification (ANCC or AANP)
• 💬 Strong clinical judgment, communication & teamwork skills
Working Hours
• ⏰ Full-Time | Day shifts
• 🏥 Outpatient with procedural exposure
