🌟 Position Overview
Join a fast-paced vascular surgery service providing high-level inpatient care to adult and geriatric patients. This is a hospital-based surgical role ideal for experienced NP or PA providers who thrive in high-acuity, procedure-driven environments and enjoy working closely with surgeons.

🏥 Facility Setting
Large Regional Medical Center | Inpatient Surgical Unit | High-Volume Vascular Program

🩺 What You’ll Be Doing

• Daily rounding on vascular surgery patients

• Pre-op evaluations and post-op management

• Intra-operative 1st assisting

• Removal of dialysis catheters

• Suture and wound care

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

• Prescribing medications

• Coordinating care with surgeons and care teams

⏰ Schedule & Call

• 12-hour shifts (days, nights, evenings & weekends required)

• Full-time availability needed

• Overnight emergency OR call from home

• 1–2 call days per week

👩‍⚕️ Clinical Environment

• Inpatient only — no clinic

• Adult & geriatric patient population

• Service census approx. 15–20 patients

• Round on 3–5 patients daily

• Work autonomously with on-site surgeon supervision

• EMR: Epic

🎯 Ideal Candidate

• NP (ANCC or AANP) with RNFA or PA (NCCPA)

• Active New York license

• BLS & ACLS

• Strong vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience

• Comfortable with first assisting & inpatient medical management

• No new graduates
