Join Our Team as a Locum NP/PA in Surgery - Vascular

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic team in Syracuse, New York. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive inpatient setting, focusing on vascular surgery. You will be part of a dedicated team providing quality care to adult and geriatric patients, where teamwork and collaboration are essential.

Job Responsibilities

• Suture removal
• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Assist in surgeries
• Write prescriptions
• Coordinate patient care
• Round on patients
• Conduct pre-operative physical exams
• Intraoperative first assisting
• Removal of dialysis catheters

Qualifications

• NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification; NP must have RNFA
• Active New York State License at the time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience in vascular and/or cardiac surgery and medical management
• Full-time availability
• Self-query NPDB required prior to presentation

License and Certification Requirements

• Active New York State NP/PA License
• NCCPA or ANCC/AANP certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications
