Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner Need at an inpatient facility in Syracuse, NY -- just a short drive to the Adirondack Mountains, Thousand Islands, and Finger Lakes wine region!
Job Details:
Dates for Coverage: ASAP (pending credentialing) - 3 month minimum
Schedule: Varies, needs willingness for days/nights/evening/weekends
Call Schedule: 1-2 days/week if any, only overnight emergency OR call (taken from home)
ERM: EPIC
Age Demographic: Adult/Geriatric
Average Number of Patients per day: Approx. 15-20 patients, round on 3-5/day
Job Details:

- Suture Removal
- Diagnose Illnesses
- Treat Illnesses
- Order Tests
- Interpret Tests
- Assist in Surgery
- Write Prescriptions
- Coordination of Care
- Rounding
- Pre-Op Physical Exams
Required Procedures:
- Intraoperative 1st assisting
- Removal of dialysis catheters
- Active NY State License
- BLS, ACLS
- Self-Query NPDB
- Full Time availability only
- No New Grads -- Needs vascular and/or cardiac surgery experience as well as medical management
- RNFA & AANP
