Shift: Varied (Typically 10-12 hour shifts: 7a-7p, 7a-5p, 9a-9p, 7p/9p-7a)

End Date: October 31, 2025

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Adults 18+, no pediatrics
• Setting: Hospital-based, no outpatient/clinic
• Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Op Physical Exams
  • Suture Removal
  • Diagnose & Treat Illnesses
  • Order & Interpret Tests
  • Assist in Surgery
  • Write Prescriptions
  • Coordination of Care
  • Rounding
  • Removal of permcaths/CVCs
• Required Procedures: Vascular surgery/cardiothoracic operative experience required. Must be comfortable managing inpatient/internal medicine conditions (hypertension, diabetes, medical management).
• Call Schedule:
  • If working on the weekend, will cover call opposite the shift (e.g., if working 7a-7p, will cover 7p-7a call).
  • Otherwise, may require 1 overnight shift per week or call.
• EMR System: Epic
• Supervision: Will work autonomously, but an on-call physician is available 24/7.

Compensation & Reimbursement:

• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage (billed at the IRS standard rate) will be reimbursed.
• Note: Trinity Health does not reimburse for any application or credentialing fees.

Requirements:

• Certification: ANCC/AANP, RNFA – REQUIRED
• License: Active NY License or willingness to obtain by 8/1/2025 – REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS: REQUIRED
• Experience: No new grads. Must have vascular surgery/cardiothoracic operative experience and inpatient/internal medicine management experience – REQUIRED
