We’re currently seeking a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to join our amazing team.
Details of the opening:
- Anticipated start date: March 2026
- Salary: $152-$160 hourly
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 26 weeks
- Anticipated schedule: 5 x 8, full time, 4 weeks/month
- Support staff: outpatient: surgery scheduler, MA, scribe. Inpatient work is more independent, working with surgeon directly.
- Patients per day: growing service line, in clinic usually 15-20 patients/day. 5-7 surgery/week
- Patient population/age: all adult
- EMR: Epic
- Special procedures: remove drains, basic wound dressing, suture/staple removal
- Board Certification: Yes, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
- License required: CA
- DEA: Yes with Schedule 2/2n
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
- Minimum experience required: strongly prefer 3-5 years of experience in neurosurgery, at least 1 year required
- Preferred surgical specialty and/or procedural experience in a complex and/or high acuity environment
- Experience with neurosurgery inpatient or outpatient strongly preferred
