Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Need
License: Active Florida License – Required

Assignment Overview

• Position: Neurosurgery NP or PA (First Assist)

• Openings: 2 Providers

• 1 Full-Time Provider: 40 hours per week

• 1 Part-Time Provider: Two weeks per month

Setting: Inpatient & OR (no outpatient responsibilities)

Facility: 600+ bed hospital

Trauma Level: II (Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center)

Schedule / Call Details

Schedule: Flexible based on provider availability

Call:

Rotated among APPs – 1:4/5 weekend call and 1:4/5 night call

Call is for unassigned patients

Clinical Details

Practice: High-volume neurosurgery group with

5 Neurosurgeons

4 Advanced Practice Providers

Responsibilities:

Inpatient rounding

First assist in the OR

No outpatient clinic duties

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as an APP in Neurosurgery OR

EMR: Cerner

Requirements

Board Certification: Required

License: Active Florida License – Required

Certifications:

ACLS – Required

BLS – Required

Experience: At least 2 years in Neurosurgery
