A premier hospital in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a night-shift Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support their Neurosurgery team. Shift & Schedule:
🕕 Hours: 6 PM – 6 AM | 12-hour in-house call shifts
📅 Shifts Available: Up to 20 per month
🛌 Onsite Sleep Room: Available during shifts
🧠 First Assist Preferred
The Practice:
🏥 100% hospital-based | Level I Trauma Center
🔪 90% trauma | 98% adult patients
📊 Daily Patient Load:

10–25 hospital patients
-
3–5 admissions
-
3 surgeries per day per physician
🧑⚕️ Some supervision required on MD call coverage days
💻 EMR: EPIC
🧪 Full lab & x-ray support onsite
Preferred Skills:

Adult & trauma-focused neurosurgery

ICP monitor placement

Spinal surgeries (instrumented & non-instrumented)

CVD: Endovascular, open, aneurysm clipping, carotid/vertebral artery procedures

Requirements:
✔️ Board Certified NP – Required
✔️ Active CO license or compact state – Required
✔️ Neurosurgery/trauma experience preferred
✔️ Able to perform or assist in preferred procedures
