- Employment Type: Contract (6-8 months)
- Licenses/Certifications: Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license for PA or NP, BLS, NCCPA/Nurse Certification in specialty, DEA, CSR
- Experience: 1+ year OR experience, orthopedic/sports medicine preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $110.11/hr

- Assist in orthopedic surgeries such as total joint replacements, fracture repairs, and procedures on foot, ankle, shoulder, knee, hip, hand, and wrist
- Support patients through pre-op assessments and post-op care
- Support clinical staff during surgeries and in clinic visits
- Conduct patient examinations, joints injections, casting, splinting, and DME application
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care and procedures accurately in EPIC Excellian EMR
- Provide thorough rounding and patient follow-up to monitor recovery progress
Required:
- Minnesota Board of Medical Practice license for PA or NP
- NCCPA certification (Physician Assistant) or equivalent certification in specialty
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support (within 180 days)
- DEA and CSR licenses
- 1+ year of experience in orthopedic or surgical settings
Preferred:
- Prior experience in orthopedic or sports medicine
- Strong supporting clinical skills in OR assistance, joint injections, casting, splinting
