Locum - Surgery: Cardiothoracic - NP / PA

Job Title: Locum - NP/PA - Surgeon - Cardiothoracic

We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant who excels in first assisting during CABG, AVR, MVR, and various thoracic procedures. This role entails both OR responsibilities and inpatient care, including telemetry and ICU duties. Job Responsibilities:

• First assist in various cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR.
• Perform OR duties with a focus on high standards of surgical care.
• Manage telemetry and ICU responsibilities efficiently.
• Participate in on-call shifts, including 1-2 call days per week and one weekend per month.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and execute procedures during weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification (Required)
• KY License (Highly Preferred, willing to accept providers willing to obtain the license)
• Availability confirmed at time of Name Clear (Required)
• ACLS, DEA, and BLS certifications (Required)
• Clean malpractice history (Preferred)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Kentucky state license (Preferred)
• ACLS certification
• DEA certification
• BLS certification
