Quick Facts

- Duration: Until permanent hire is made
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM)
- Hours/week: 36-40 hours (3 shifts)
- Employment Type: Locum, part-time
- Licensure: Virginia license required
- Experience: Prior neurointerventional or related inpatient care experience recommended
- Hourly Pay Rate: $14.74/hour
- Pay package discussed upon application

- Provide specialized inpatient/neurointerventional care for adult and geriatric patients
- Respond to code stroke situations and coordinate post-procedure care
- Document patient care efficiently within EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Support hospital staff in delivering high-quality neurovascular treatments
- Assist with patient assessments and treatment planning in emergency and scheduled procedures
Required:
- Valid Virginia Nurse Practitioner license
- Certified in ACLS, PALS, and NRP (or willing to obtain)
- Experience in neurointerventional or inpatient acute care settings
Preferred:
- Prior neurovascular or stroke care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
