Job Responsibilities
🔹 Assist in surgical procedures (first assist in OR)
🔹 Perform wound care, suturing, and hemostasis
🔹 Support surgeons with patient positioning and intraoperative tasks
🔹 Conduct rounding, progress notes, consults, and discharges
🔹 Manage pre-op and post-op patient care
🔹 Handle on-call responsibilities (optional)
Qualifications
✔️ Active NY State License
✔️ Board Certified NP
✔️ Minimum 2 years of recent surgical experience
✔️ AHA BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
✔️ Epic EMR experience required
Working Hours
🕒 Day Shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10–12 hrs)
📅 Flexible block schedule (3x12s, 4x10s, or 5x8s)
📞 Optional weekday & weekend on-call opportunities
