🏥 Setting: Acute Care Hospital (109 beds)
💼 Role: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Surgical First Assist + Floor Coverage
🗓 Coverage Needs (Summer):
• 8/6 – 8/8 (3x12s)
• 8/21 – 8/28 (flex schedule: 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s)
👉 Potential to extend through end of year!
⏰ Schedule Highlights:
• Day shifts (7a start)
• Optional call:
– Weeknights (5p–7a, ~4 shifts/month)
– Weekends (Fri 5p – Mon 7a)
• Light weekend rounding (8a–12p)
🩺 What You’ll Do:
• Surgical First Assist in the OR
• Floor coverage: rounding, consults, discharges
• Work with General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Ortho patients
✅ Requirements:
• NY License (in hand)
• Board Certified NP/PA
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• 2+ years recent surgical experience
• Epic experience
