Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in a hospital-based surgical setting.
This assignment offers a structured weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and a mix of rounding, consults, and procedural exposure, making it ideal for providers seeking consistent surgical experience.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10% of vascular surgery APP locum roles (2026 market data)
$150/hr
Assignment Highlights
- Full-time schedule (4x10s or 5x8s)
- Hospital-based role (no clinic requirement)
- ~20 patients per day
- Mix of rounding, consults, and OR assist

Job Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient rounding on vascular surgery patients
- Evaluate consults and develop care plans
- Assist in the OR (if experienced)
- Coordinate care with surgical team and residents
- Document care in Epic
Clinical Scope
- Vascular surgery patient management
- Pre- and post-operative care
- Inpatient consults
- Optional OR assist based on experience
Skills & Experience
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (or PA)
- Active Pennsylvania license (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Vascular or surgical experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
