Required Skills:
- Current NP or PA licensure in New Jersey
- Certification with RNFA or related surgical credentials preferred
- Proven experience in trauma, emergency, or acute care settings
- Proficiency in managing trauma alerts, inpatient care, and surgical consultations
- Ability to perform procedures including chest tube placement, central/arterial line insertion, and minor suturing
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Competency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working in a Level II trauma hospital
- BLS, ACLS certifications
- Experience supervising or collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in trauma or emergency environments
- Prior locum or temporary coverage experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Local to Atlantic City or nearby for mileage reimbursement
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- No need for a new state license, as licensure has been pre-approved
- Healthcare providers must pass credentialing within approximately 30 days
