Are you a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner passionate about vascular surgery? Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient rounds, perform consults, and assist in the operating room when qualified.
- Support hospital staff, including nursing and residents, in managing a diverse vascular patient population.
- Participate in daily patient care activities in a fast-paced hospital environment with approximately 20 patients per day.
Required Skills:
- Valid PA license and current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- DEA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in vascular or surgical patient care.
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in vascular surgery or related specialties.
- Prior OR assist experience.
- Advanced procedural skills relevant to vascular care.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
- Surgical or vascular specialty certification preferred.
- At least one year of vascular or surgical practice in a hospital setting.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work four 10-hour days (07:00 - 17:00) or five 8-hour shifts.
- Ability to support full-time coverage, 4 days per week in a hospital environment.
- Commitment to maintaining licensure, certifications, and complying with hospital policies.
- Flexibility for credentialing within approximately 90 days; opportunities may be available for temporary placement with a clean file.
