Join Our Team as a Surgery Vascular Nurse Practitioner

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient rounds, perform consults, and assist in the operating room when qualified.
  • Support hospital staff, including nursing and residents, in managing a diverse vascular patient population.
  • Participate in daily patient care activities in a fast-paced hospital environment with approximately 20 patients per day.

Required Skills:
  • Valid PA license and current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • DEA certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in vascular or surgical patient care.
  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in vascular surgery or related specialties.
  • Prior OR assist experience.
  • Advanced procedural skills relevant to vascular care.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher.
  • Surgical or vascular specialty certification preferred.
  • At least one year of vascular or surgical practice in a hospital setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work four 10-hour days (07:00 - 17:00) or five 8-hour shifts.
  • Ability to support full-time coverage, 4 days per week in a hospital environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining licensure, certifications, and complying with hospital policies.
  • Flexibility for credentialing within approximately 90 days; opportunities may be available for temporary placement with a clean file.

Hourly Pay Rate: $146.01
