This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00 per hour, with guaranteed 8 hours of work per day. Overtime applies after 8 hours daily, and call responsibilities are compensated within the hourly rate, including night and weekend shifts. Required Skills:
- Active California medical license and DEA registration
- Board Certification in your respective field
- BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience assisting with orthopedic surgeries, particularly trauma cases
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work scheduled hours, including on-call shifts and potential overtime
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in orthopedic trauma or hospital-based settings
- Capable of handling complex cases with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity in orthopedic trauma or general orthopedics
- Proven track record with case logs and surgical procedures
- Recent practical experience within a hospital environment
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital privileges, including submission of required documentation within designated timelines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Must adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and regulatory standards
