Join us at a leading hospital in Springfield, OH, where you'll work alongside a Cardiovascular Surgeon and provide care to adult and geriatric patients. This position requires some on-call duties, varying shifts, and the ability to assist in surgeries and critical care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in cardiac and critical care surgeries
  • Write prescriptions and coordinate patient care
  • Perform rounding and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Order necessary tests and perform vein harvesting

Qualifications

  • Board Certified (ANCC, AANP)
  • Ohio State License preferred (consideration given to candidates obtaining license quickly)
  • ACLS certification required
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
  • Experience in Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery preferred, critical care experience may be considered
  • Completion of a Self-Query NPDB report within 30 days of presentation required

Working Hours

  • Varied shifts with OR and ICU/CVICU call

  • Proficiency in Epic EMR system
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Competence in vein harvesting and care coordination
