Locum NP/PA - Trauma Surgery Robbinsdale, MN

This is an exceptional opportunity to provide critical support to a dedicated trauma team, ensuring high-quality care for adult and adolescent patients in Robbinsdale, MN. What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience in trauma surgery, surgical trauma critical care, or emergency care
- Proficiency in managing non-invasive ventilation, chest tubes, central and arterial lines, and suturing minor lacerations
- Ability to respond promptly to trauma alerts, facilitate discharges, and manage ER admissions
- Strong rounding and patient management skills for 10-14 non-ICU patients or 6 ICU patients daily
- Excellent clinical judgment, autonomy, and coordination with trauma surgeons
- Comfort working independently with supervisory trauma surgeon present 24/7
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience with EPICTM EMR system
- Familiarity with pediatric trauma care
- Experience in high-acuity trauma environments with the ability to handle diverse age groups from 0-100+
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Advanced practice degree (NP/PA)
- At least 2 years of trauma or critical care experience
- Current state licensure with active certification in emergency or trauma care
Additional Requirements:
- Full autonomy in clinical decision-making
- Availability for in-house coverage during designated shifts
- Travel and license reimbursements where applicable; credentialing costs are not reimbursed
- No call responsibilities—coverage is in-house only
