What You'll Bring:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with surgical or cardiac experience
- Strong clinical skills in pre and post-operative care
- Ability to assist with surgeries, urgent procedures, and patient management
- Proficiency in ICU & step-down management
- Competence with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience in cardiothoracic or thoracic surgery
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted thoracic surgeries and minimally invasive procedures
- Experience with endoscopic vein or radial artery harvest
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and emergent procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant surgical or cardiothoracic practice
- Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Credentialing completed within 10 days of start date
- Willingness to work variable hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as scheduled
- Availability from February 7, 2026, to provide full-time coverage
- Ability to carry a pager and respond promptly during on-call shifts
