Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct post-operative floor and ICU care.
• Manage patient rounds and coordinate care effectively.
• Perform suture removal, diagnose, treat illnesses, and write prescriptions.
• Order and interpret tests while ensuring comprehensive patient management.
• Conduct pre-operative physical exams and provide follow-up care.
• Work autonomously with a supervising physician available for consultation 24/7.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio.
• ANCC or AANP certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate a clean background check with no exceptions.
• A Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of the presentation date is required.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner License (Required).
• ANCC or AANP Certification (Required).
• BLS and ACLS Certification (Required).
