We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Dec 29, 2025, and involves 24-hour call coverage with first call responsibilities, responding to emergent cases 2-3 nights per week and rotating weekends. Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide first call coverage for cardiothoracic surgery cases
- Respond to emergent cases during assigned shifts
- Participate in 24-hour call rotations, including nights and weekends
- Perform first assist duties in the operating room
- Collaborate with the surgical and inpatient care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Must have active Nurse Practitioner licenses in Oregon and Washington
- Required certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
- Inpatient experience within the past 24 months is mandatory
