This role begins Jan 5, 2026, with day shifts from 7a-5p and a rotating call schedule. The assignment involves first assisting, vein harvesting, and rounding, with proficiency required in using the Maquet Hemopro 2 system. Candidates must have current NCCPA certification and hold valid ACLS and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- First assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
- Perform vein harvesting for bypass surgeries
- Conduct patient rounding and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams
- Utilize Maquet Hemopro 2 for surgical assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Ohio
- NCCPA certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Recent experience with Maquet Hemopro 2 is essential
- 2-3 weeks credentialing process
