- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 7 patients per shift. Seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time role, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with no weekends or call. The provider will assist in the OR, perform rounding, prepare discharges, and coordinate patient care. Candidates must have experience as a first assist in general surgery to be considered. Overtime is available after 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist in the operating room as a first assist.
* Perform inpatient rounding and manage follow-up care.
* Prepare discharges and coordinate patient care plans.
* Manage an average of 7 patients per shift.
Qualifications
* Must have first-assist experience in general surgery.
* Appropriate licensure and certification required.
* Experience in both OR and inpatient settings preferred.
Working Hours
* No weekends and no call responsibilities.
* On-site clinical hours only.
* Overtime available after 40 hours per week.
Skills
* Effective patient rounding and discharge planning skills.
* Ability to collaborate with the surgical team in a fast-paced environment.
