We are seeking an experienced Surgery - Neurological Nurse Practitioner for a 56-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins Jan 12, 2026, and features a 7 on, 7 off block schedule with alternating day and night 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience and hold the Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) certification. Familiarity with Epic EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced care for neurological surgical patients in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans specific to neurological surgery cases
- Assist in the management of pre- and post-operative neurosurgical patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in Epic EMR
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Minimum 2 years experience required
- North Carolina licensure required
- Must hold Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist - Adult Gerontology (ACCNS-AG) certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
